菜鸟从硬盘安装Redhat Linux 9.0中文版实现双系统的过程

由于我是一个Linux菜鸟，所以才有了下面的硬盘安装过程，成功了----但是我是网通的adsl用户，在这里http://download.enet.com.cn/html/212002002051502.html下载Redhat Linux速度可以达到上限，下载的文件为三个iso映像文件，大概一共1.8G左右。

作为一个Linux菜鸟，我采取的安装过程是这样的：

1、进行安装前的准备工作----由于我的机器上跑着Windows XP，自己很是习惯，当然选择保留。可是由于安全性以及性能的考虑，硬盘上面的两个分区都是NTFS分区，其中一个主分区，另一个是扩展分区。主分区当然对应的就是C:驱动器了，扩展分区有三个逻辑分区，分别对应D:、E:、F:盘。首先要做的就是一张DOS启动盘。将准备好的软盘插入软驱中，打开我的电脑对着A：盘符右键----选择格式化，在弹出的对话框中选中"创建DOS启动盘"，然后确定，格式化后留作待用。

2、NTFS分区向FAT32分区转换----由于C:盘不能动，而D:盘又塞满了东东，我的目光转向了E:盘。为什么会需要FAT32分区呢？道理很简单，NTFS分区对于我这样的菜鸟来说Linux下根本无法访问，而且DOS启动软盘也对NTFS束手无策，可是转换成FAT32分区后，至少我用软盘启动后，可对其进行操作。转换的方法当然还是用磁盘分区工具，什么分区魔术师一类的，我当时用的时Norton Partition Magic 8.0简体中文版分区软件，down的地址忘记了，不过分区转换的时候中文名文件容易出现乱码。所以我推荐使用Paragon Partition Manager 7.0000，这个软件我在http://www.anxz.com 找到的，中文界面文件体积也不大，重要的是基本上不会出现乱码问题。

3、将三个iso光盘映像文件复制到FAT32分区----以便于既能够在windows XP下面实现文件复制或者移动，而且DOS下以及Linux下都能访问。

4、提取Dosutilities文件夹----好像是这样的名字，位于第一个iso映像文件中，提取后放到FAT32分区中，以便DOS下能够访问和进行操作。提取的工具可以使用WinISO软件，我看到过有人不推荐使用这个，说最好加上映像提取，还提到过什么mount之类的，我并没有管它。

5、我觉得很重要----用分区软件创建Linux可以使用的空间。我还是用的Norton Partition Magic软件，仔细看：删除F:逻辑盘，将E:盘也就是那个FAT32分区大小调整到够用就可以了，然后缩小扩展分区的尺寸。经过这样的调整，我的磁盘上面是这样，一个c:盘这里是NTFS主分区，一个D:盘NTFS分区装载我的Windows XP类型软件和备份，一个E:盘FAT32分区装载三个Iso映像以及Dosutilities文件夹，还有准备供Linux使用的空闲空间。

6、从软盘启动机器----进入DOS模式后，选择c:盘（当然了NTFS分区看不到，C:盘就是FAT32分区所在的盘)，进入Dosutilities文件夹，执行Autoboot。接下来就是Linux的世界了。

7、需要注意的是设置Linux分区的时候，装载区我设了一个/，还搞了一个SWap（选择最大尺寸，我的内存256M，当然就是512M的Swap空间了）。有建议说弄三个还包括一个装载区/boot，可是我却弄不出来。不管它，反正有两个就行了。

8、令我苦恼的是----也许是我在选择文件包的时候疏忽，或者是别的问题，Linux跑起来以后，我发现没有办法上网了，一查发现没有浏览器，我选择添加/删除，提示我说没有找到，也不知道是真的没有还是iso方式安装加上没有选择该文件包的原因，怎么办呢？要知道在网络的今天，我的手里实在是没有什么光盘可以使用，资源都在网上。我转到Windows XP下当了一个到FAT32里面，却发现我在Linux下无法访问那个FAT32。

9、还有一个问题，在安装的时候提示制作启动盘，我就做了一张。可是启动的时候总是要用软盘，不然就是Windows XP，就仿佛机器里面没有这个Linux一样。

10、最后的一个问题，在看见/mbr的时候，一定要选择linux的第一个分区，至于为什么----我是菜鸟，反正我就是这样选的，我安装成功了。

后话：对于Linux系统以前我曾经安装过不同于Redhat的版本，那个时候的版本比较低，能运行起来而且当时确实是lilo双系统，但由于我是菜鸟，实在是搞不了中文界面出来。我写的这个东西虽然让行家看来比较好笑，但是我相信如果是菜鸟看见这样的安装过程，也会一样成功的。
