Microsoft资助一个与PHP的vendor Zend 的联合项目，来确保PHP在on Microsoft's server 平台上的正常工作。

Zend和微软一起做了许多技术上的改进，其中包括在Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS)加一个FastCGI FastCGI 组件, 以作为IIS 和 PHP的接口。
