It will start with a tour on how to use the operating system for common tasks. The presentation will cover productivity in Linux and how to get things done. Alexandro Colorado is the 5 year old Co-Lead of the OpenOffice.org project for Spanish. He has 8 years experience working with Linux and has trained and assisted companies into deploying their open source strategy. He is currently the co-founder of CLIC a Web 2.0 and new media company to assist small businesses to get exposure on the Web through the use of social networking.
Who Should Attend: This session is informative for all computer users. Anyone who has used a computer can learn Linux very easily.
This session will be moderated by Nellie Deutsch. Nellie is a Canadian high school English teacher (EFL/ESL) and a doctoral student of educational leadership specializing in curriculum and instruction at the University of Phoenix online.
