1. Sr. Software Engineer
In this position, you will be working on Linux* open source projects, responsible for validating virtualization technologies in Xen* and KVM.
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Additional qualifications include:
Familiarity with C and/or C++, as well as common script languages
More than one year project management experience and strong Quality Assessment (QA) leadership
Knowledge and experience in Intel hardware architecture (IA-32 and/or IA-64)
Good English communication skills
Good team work and self motivation
More than three years software engineering on Linux* (Linux* kernel experience would be an added advantage)
Expert in software QA process, experience in open source validation would be an added advantage
2. SW Product Validation Engineer
In this position, you will be responsible for validating the software compliance with product requirements and ensure software product release timely with high quality. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Planning and scheduling the validation tasks
Defining system test methodologies, designing and implementing test plans, testing systems and testing tools
Developing test cases and automating test execution to improve the test efficiency, analyze test results, report bugs, gather validation indicators
Working closely with various international teams and stakeholders, such as development, documentation, release management, marketing, technical support
Qualifications
You should possess a Master's degree in Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering and/or Electronic Engineering. Additional qualifications include:
More than two years software testing experiences, be familiar with software test tools, software engineering process and test automation
Excellent programming skills in Java, C and/or C++, Perl and Shell scripting
Excellent communication skills to support local and worldwide teams
Proficiency in verbal and written English and Chinese
Technical background in developing and testing Web Services and open XML-based Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) products would be an added advantage
3. Power Engineer （偏软）
In this position, you will be responsible for power design and firmware development for NB and CE system. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Extending Battery Life solution design and/or review and/or debug
Developing cost effective and high efficiency PC system power supply solutions
Responsible for the Firmware support and enabling for channel mobile platform
Qualifications
You should possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with more than 2-3 years of experience. Additional qualifications include:
Familiarity with AC/DC, DC/DC circuit design and related theory, proficiency at schematic capture and in-depth knowledge of system power solution architectures
Track record implementing EFI and/or Framework and/ or Tiano* BIOS code base and C programming skills
Skills in the software engineering development process, project life cycle, PC architecture and Mobile PC Operating System
Familiarity with Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) and Mobile power management structure
Good understanding of new power supply design technology trend and notebook power-saving methodology
Fluent oral and written in English
4. Thermal Engineer （偏软）
In this position, you will be responsible for NB system thermal and/or acoustic architecture design, review, implementation and test. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Responsible for customer engagement for technical support in thermal and/or acoustic to ensure design feasibility, reliability and production readiness
Following Intel Product Life Cycle
Responsible for the customer training and frequent travel expected
Qualifications
You should possess at least Bachelor's degree in thermal and/or aerodynamics and/or heat transfer or related field with more than 3 years of experience or a Master's degree with 1-2 years working experience. Additional qualifications include:
Solid knowledge on thermal dynamics, heat transfer and aerodynamics and acoustic
Familiarity with simulation tools such as Flotherm*, Icepak* and and others
Familiarity with design and/or test methodology in heatsink design and cooling route design
Familiarity with Product Life Cycle
Fluent oral and written in English and/or Mandarin
PC architecture knowledge would be an added advantage
5. Next Generation XML Technology Engineer （不必非熟悉XML,熟悉C, C++就可以）
In this position, you will be joining a new project to develop/test toolkits for new architectures and messaging related services software enabled by emergence of Web2.0 and SOA. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Implementing tool chains and developing the associated optimizations for a software and/or hardware CO-design solution for messaging centric applications
Performing performance analysis of the specific benchmarks, deliver high quality software product.
Develop the test infrastructure to ensure the product quality
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree and/or a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Additional qualifications include:
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and good teamwork, innovative, and have good perception and anticipation on technology
Strong technical communication via software prototype, written and verbal communication skills in English
Understanding XML security is an excellent plus.
Software development experience in developing with C++, C, JAVA* programming with x86 or Itanium architecture
Experience in software performance tuning, testing, and integration with low level services (such as drivers, runtime support libraries, middleware libraries, and others)
Experience with disciplined software development from concept development through deployment
Experience with compiler, critical performance tuning, and language support would be an added advantage
Knowledge on hardware architecture and compiler, especially on Intel architecture would be an added advantage
Experience with middleware software used in managed runtime frameworks would be an added advantage
6. Senior Solaris Kernel Developer （不必非有内核开发经验，熟悉Solaris, C或C++就可以）
In this position, you will be working as a kernel developer for Open Solaris* on Intel's platform. You will be designing, implementing and debugging kernel features as well as fixing kernel bugs for Open Solaris* that may cover areas including device drivers, power management, kernel performance tuning, virtualization support, and others.
Qualifications
You should possess a Master of Science degree with more than three years of working experience as a developer, or a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Computer Science with more than five years of experience. Additional qualifications include:
Strong C programming skills and assembly language skills
Experience with developing device drivers on a UNIX*-like operating system
Strong problem solving capability
Good verbal and written English skills
Experience in developing communication device driver (like wireless, wireless USB, ethernet)
Good understanding in computer system architecture with Intel(r) architecture knowledge would be an added advantage
Deep understanding on operation system with Solaris* and/or Linux* would be an added advantage
