GNU Automake 1.16 已发布，Automake 是一款自动生成符合 GNU 编码标准的 Makefile.in 文件的工具。它是自由软件基金会发起的 GNU 计划的其中一项，作为 GNU 建构系统的一部分。Automake 需要和 GNU Autoconf 一起使用。
上一次版本发布时 8 个月前的 Automake 1.15.1 ，新版本包含一些 Bug 修复，并新增了部分特性，详细的更新内容可查阅：
