王坚还认为到2016年年底的时候，阿里能做到有一亿部手机是用YunOS的，就是20%到25%的市场份额，这将远远超过了苹果iOS在中国的市场份额。
当被问及如何看待与谷歌的竞争，王坚强调，阿里巴巴的竞争对手不是谷歌，而是上一个时代，比如云计算就是要跟像IBM这样自19世纪初就代表了美国先进技术的产业竞争。此外，阿里还积极布局量子信息技术，与中科院联合研发通用量子计算机，探索满足人类未来计算需求的技术。
论坛演讲结束后，王坚在接受媒体采访表示，虽然之前阿里人工智能成功预测了《我是歌手》冠军，和谷歌AlphaGo一样引起公众的兴趣，但目前距离人工智能的实现还非常遥远。
谈到当下火热的VR领域，王坚称VR本身没有出现颠覆性技术，未来VR技术可能是直接投影到人眼内，阿里巴巴投资相关公司Magic Leap是出于前瞻性的思考和布局。他还表示未来将把YunOS系统推广到国外。
