CKEditor 4.4 发布，此版本是 CKEditor 4 系列的最新版本，CKEditor 团队今天还发布了4.3 系列的最后一个版本 4.3.5 。
CKEditor 4.4 版本包括了大量的新特性：添加了代码片段插件，带有语法高亮功能；对样式系统进行了改进，允许添加 widgets 的样式；允许对增强的图片插件创建的图片添加链接，可以轻松的自定义图形元素和对齐的类；Advanced Content Filter 系统支持黑名单和通配符。
其他特性如下：
A new editor.addContentsCss() method was introduced. It can be used for adding custom CSS files.
The new CKEDITOR.tools.htmlDecode() method can be used for decoding HTML entities.
The new CKEDITOR.tools.transparentImageData property contains transparent image data to be used in CSS or as image source.
Setting data (including switching between modes) now creates a new undo snapshot. Additionally, the editable.status property and a new forceUpdate option for the editor.lockSnapshot event were introduced.
The WebSpellChecker ans SCAYT plugins were updated to the latest version.
