TXR 是一个新的用于文本抽取的模式匹配语言，用于替换 awk 和 perl，提供基于模板的全文匹配。

TXR 81 发布，此版本对 TXR Lisp 进行了较大的改进：

adds dynamically scoped variables

lexically scoped macros (macrolet operator)

global and lexical symbol macros (defsymacro and symacrolet) with all the proper scoping and macro evironment access

Various new functions are introduced

Bugfixes were made in numerous areas: quasiquotes, the open-tail function, the debugger, the bignum square root function, missing s-ifsock, source code location tracking, and code transformation
