Job description
Deliver a comprehensive service and support plan for Cross-Platform Solutions Offerings encompassing product maintenance, SW Services Premium, and build and deploy services. The candidate will work with the SW and HW product planners for the respective components of the solution. The Solution Planner represents and is the voting member for IBM Service & Support on the Solution Product Development Teams (PDT) and Integrated Product Management Teams (IPMT). This role is responsible for the TSS Service Planning in support of the STG Acquisition of Houston based Texas Memory Systems. The product roadmap includes flash based appliances, owned and released by SWG including Netezza and PureAS. Software, identified OEM content plus Support/Services offerings globally to encompass the total solution environment at GA.

Primary Responsiblites :
E2E technical support plan (HW, SW, Services)
Consolidate offering requirements, build menu of support offerings
Map global offerings to all solution components
Lead global team to assess worldwide offering and delivery readiness
Lead planning team to assess solution level quality plan (HW/SW)
Ensure entitlement strategy in place
Lead planning team to assess worldwide support costs flows for GA, POC and beta offerings
Develop processes to fill gaps in worldwide delivery capabilities
Interface with TSS pricing team to build solution level business case
Ensure consistent worldwide support delivery across all solution components (HW, SW, Services)
Create appliance support plan documents and project plan
Participate in life cycle planning

Required
Strong demonstrated leadership skills
Fluent English
1-3 years service planning experience
Flexible work hours - might have night calls with PDT in US/Europe time zone

1. This is an AP Mission position, fluent English is mandatory. Second round interview will be conducted by US colleague.
2. Knowledge about software development.
