QA Intern
Job Description:
The SUSE Quality Assurance department plays a critical role in ensuring the overall quality of SUSE products. This Bug report screener position is an internship. In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing bug reports entered by external and internal users. This includes checking if all required logs were attached, if the bug was entered for accurate component and product, and if the bug reproduction steps were clear, etc. You will work along with other colleagues and managers to keep the high quality for SUSE products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing bug reports in bug tracking system
* Helping users to provide additional information via bug tracking system if needed
* Assigning bug reports to the responsible and related developers
* Closing duplicate bug reports
* Prioritizing the bug reports
* Related documentation tasks
Qualification:
* Good written English skills
* Good knowledge of operating system
* Eager to learn new stuff
* Experience with Linux or other Unix-like system is a plus
* At least 4 full working days per week
* Lasting more than 6 months or long term and stable internship
