通过srgsu可以拨通内部网后，再怎么设置宽带连接,请教各位!找了很多资料都解决不了

本人学校里内部网是通过锐捷拨号，宽带是“虚拟专用网络连接”接宽带的。在红旗Linux5.0下，通过srgsu可以拨通内部网，但不知道怎样才能连上宽带。有谁知道该在Linux下怎么设置呀？
Linux本人通过adsl-setup命令设置提示：
Type '/sbin/ifup ppp3' to bring up you xDSL Link and '/sbin/ifdown ppp3' to bring it down
Type '/sbin/adsl-status/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ppp3' to see the Link status
命令：adsl-status: 提示：
Link id down (can't read pppoe PID file/var/run/pppoe-ads/pid.pppoe)
