Position Summary

Adobe Digital Marketing Suite is a collection of web analytics and website optimization products that provide insight into the performance of online marketing initiatives, empowering organizations to make informed decisions and helping to ensure the success of online marketing programs. As the industry-leading digital marketing solution provider, our customers include many top and most complex websites like Walmart, Apple, eBay, AOL, Nike and so on.

We have data processing centers around the globe. Now we’re looking for a strong Engineering Manager to lead a dedicated engineering team which will be focused on data migration tools development. We’ll use these tools to do huge volume user data (3G to 300T per user account) migration among our data centers. Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a team with talented developers;

• A full ownership of the product’s development and maintenance;

• Can define, staff and monitor various small to large-size project;

• Sets a realistic project development schedule; Staffs against a plan;

• Modify or improve existing software development processes; Creates and measures realistic implementation goals and process;

• Identify project risks and provide useful mitigation strategies;

• Timely and informatively reports project status; effectively and diplomatically communicates risk; makes practical and useful suggestions;

• Manages multiple tasks efficiently; High degree of productivity and quality; Selfdirected; Self- pacing ;

• Maintains a professional and respectful demeanor when working with peers and staffs; Works closely and effectively with Core product team, Program Managers and QE Managers;

•Work effectively with other product group and remote sites; lead productive cross team meetings;

• Excels in training, leading and motivating team members; Inspire distinguished performance from team members;

• Accurately assesses strengths and development needs of employees; Gives timely and specific feedback and helpful coaching;

• Help manage and motivate a high-caliber, team-oriented software development organization, fostering an environment that promotes excellence and rewards results;

• Explores new opportunities and advanced technologies for team improvement; Can delegate and balance tasks across the team through creative problem solving and flexibility;

• Help set team vision and to socialize it across the group, actively aligning efforts to achieve the vision;

• Effectively applies sound management principles, clearly conveys department policies and expectations to direct reports;

• Continually research web application and on-line marketing technologies and incorporate that new knowledge into current ongoing web application development process;

• Assumes responsibilities beyond purview to improve project, group, or business unit, works with a variety of teams across group boundaries.



Requirements

• Bachelor or above, Computer Science or related

• Management experience

o 7+ years for Sr. manager position

o 3+ years for manager position

• Software development experience or equivalent industry experience

o 10+ years for Sr. manager position

o 7+ years for manager position



Desired Technical Skills:

• Programming experiences on Unix/Linux

• Experiences on the implementation of data processing like data filtering, transform, loading, correlation is a BIG plus.

• Demonstrated knowledge in all aspects of the software development process

• Able to act as an advocator for both internal and external customers to ensure we successfully deliver on the requirements and expectations

Desired Non-Technical Skills:

• Fluent in verbal and written English and Chinese

• Organized and detail-oriented personality

• Flexibility to move between tasks

• Proactive and positive attitude

• Persuasive and skilled at making logical and well-defined arguments

• Strong inter-person and cross-culture communication skills

• Ability to avoid distractions and deliver against deadlines
