Textadept 是 SciTE tools/SciTE-st 的作者 Mitchell Foral 的最新作品，同样是基于 Scintilla 开发，使用可扩展语言 lua 进行对框架进行功能性增强，同时可跨平台运行于 Windows/Linux/Mac OSX 系统。
对于 Textadept 不同于 SciTE tools/SciTE-st 的是，它支持多主题（UI的友好化），动态更换语言高亮，Snippets支持，以及最重要的项目支持等，下面截图是我最需要的项目支持，而且 UI 也变得好看多了。
