responsibilities
? participate in reviews of product features requirements, functional specs and design documents; identify missing testability features and drive their implementation by working closely with feature developers and leads
? responsible for owning feature sets from test planning / strategy through test execution and automation
? responsible for designing, writing and automating new tests; may be asked to update existing tests (automated and/or manual)
? participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, integration and system testing at a black box and white box level analyze test run results and report bugs

required skills
? hands-on experience implementing test automation framework that integrates homegrown and open source automation tools.
? hands-on experience with multiple operating systems (solaris, hpux, aix, and linux) administration highly desirable.
? programming experience in shell script, c/c++, perl, tcl, python, or java is preferred
? experience in functional test, integration test and system validation and verification
? understanding of storage usage in virtualization environments (vmware esx, xen, hyperv)
? attention to details
? excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills both in chinese and english.
? bachelor or master? degree in computer science or related fields with 4+ years of experience in a hands-on qa role

desirable skills
? knowledge and passion for solid software quality assurance engineering practices, release processes and project life cycles
? work experience on clustered san/nas products would be an added advantage.
? b.s. computer science or equivalent; ms preferred.
