• Linux Device OS Validation engineer
Description
The Open Source Technology Center (OTC) within the Intel Software and Services Group (SSG) is creating the system software for mobile devices. OTC validation team is looking for Linux talents to work on the various validation challenges during system integration, e.g. regression prevention, power and performance measurement and analysis etc. In this position, you will get chance to work with industry Linux experts and contribute to product device OS creation. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Demonstrate the ability to work with architects to design and implement tool or workload to resolve specific technical requirements and challenge.
- Be able to do deep-dive issue analysis on at least one domain, e.g. comms, multimedia or graphics etc.
- Be able to drive the deployment of the validation tool to the development process and engage with the stakeholders to do technology transfer.
Qualifications
The candidate should be knowledgeable about Linux system:
- Solid development experience on Linux, good programming skill in C, C++
- Expert in shell/python/perl etc script languages
- Proven track record in analyzing and debugging critical issues on Linux
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
- Self starter who can work with minimal supervision in a team environment
