System Integration Test Engineer
Location: Beijing
Job Responsibility
 Validate the technical implementation of the gateway products by means of grey-box testing;
 Create, maintain and refine test cases and requirements for regression and new feature validation;
 Communicate and coordinate with a worldwide software team in order to rapidly solve products defects;
 Contribute your technical expertise to system architecture and software development engineers on bleeding edge Triple-play technologies such as Ethernet-in-the-first mile, next generation wireless and Voice and Video over IP technologies;
 Continuously thrive to maintain and improve the high quality standards of the products.
Job Requirement
Mandatory Skills
 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Science or related discipline (Masters preferred)
 +3 years working experience in testing and/or test automation.
 Experience with SmartBits or similar testing instruments.
 Familiar with Tcl/Tk language.
 Solid background in networking including relevant experience in a subset of the following technologies:
-XDSL based technologies: ADSL (2+), SHDSL (bis), VDSL (2), EFM
-WAN protocols: PPPoE, PPPoA, CIP, IPoA
-Layer 2 / 2.5 technologies: Ethernet, ATM, WLAN (802.11 a/b/g/n), VLAN
-IP based technologies: DHCP / DNS / SNTP, NAT/NAPT, UPnP
-Security technologies : IPSec / SSL / SSH, AAA, RADIUS, Firewall / IDS
Triple Play technologies : VOIP: H.323, SIP, MGCP, Video over IP, Multicast & IGMP, Fixed-mobile convergence
 Willing to work at customer location.

Optional Skills:
 Experience in configuring following devices: DSLAM (Alcatel / Nortel / ZTE / Huawei) , ATM switches (Marconi), Router & BRAS (Cisco / Redback / Alcatel / Juniper).
 Other Experience in scripting languages: Perl, Unix Shell
 Experience in product certification: Wifi / UPNP / DTM (WHQL).
 Software tools: Bug reporting tools: Clearquest / DDTS / Bugzilla, Network sniffers: Ethereal / Airopeek, Skilled in using Windows & Linux/Unix networking capabilities.
 Good experience on Macintosh platform is a plus.

General Skills
 Self-starter, detail oriented, and ability to work under pressure and short timelines.
 Good problem solving skills will be added advantage
 Should have positive thinking and willing to help team on technical issues like analyzing the logs, conducting the tests, reviewing the doc/code, etc.
 Team player with good communication skills
 Strong analytical skills.
 Proficient English (Oral and Written)
