Fedora 17开发代号是Beefy Miracle，该版本可能默认使用BTRFS文件系统，Fedora团队预计在2012年5月8日发布Fedora 17正式版，首个Alpha版预计在2012年2月28日发布，Beta版在2012年4月3日发布，当然这都是建立在不跳票的情况下。
