Qualification：
• 5 years Planning, Delivering and Closing large Application migration and modernization engagements
• Working experience of “application migration” on UNIX to Linux platforms
• Demonstrated and documented understanding of key Linux flavors (especially - Red Hat, Suse, etc).
• Expertise with key UNIX flavors (e.g., AIX, HP-UX, SCO, etc)
• Expertise delivering application migration engagements in at least one application programming language group (Java, C,C , COBOL preferred)
• Expertise with functional and performance application testing (e.g., performance testing, load and stress testing, cluster testing, etc)
• In depth Understanding of interactivity of RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, DB2 etc) with Applications and impact on modernization engagements
• Knowledge and experience with Weblogic, Websphere, Webservices, etc.
• Experience with virtualization on UNIX / Linux
• Working knowledge of scripts (Perl, Shell, etc)
• Experience Authoring well-designed RFP/RFI responses
• Expertise in Application portfolio assessment, code analysis, due diligence, requirements gathering & analysis as part of Application migration/modernization assessment
• Expertise with application migration related estimations, ROI analysis and business case preparation ( candidates with documented work samples given preference)
Desired Technology Skills:
• UNIX / Linux administrator experience
• Familiarity and experience with basic administration of Weblogic and/or Websphere
• Familiarity with storage environments (e.g., SAN, NAS, etc.)
Required Soft Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to write and communicate clearly and effectively
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience working with global delivery teams including onsite/offshore/near-shore teams
