Web developer for STB IODTDescription
Web development with javascript, including standard features and customized features for specific customer.
Understand the requirement on STB deeply and guarantee firmware quality from STB vendor.
Web trouble shooting to locate the problem in client. Work closely with web browser vendors, STB vendors and portal development team. Drive the issue resolving among them.
Integrate the hybrid solution, like integrating DVB-C/T/S functionalities into STB.
Design and perform test, both on the automatic test on the own development module and IPTV end to end test.
Support on Marking Unit and other internal organizations for the STB integration activities.

Qualifications
University Bachelor or Master Degree in any of the following majors: Computer Science, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering with 2~4 years working experience in related field is required
Solid experience on the web technology, like HTML5, SVG, Javascript and the top browsers in the market.
Solid knowledge in TV domain, like DVB-C/T/S standards, CA technology, CDN technology.
Solid experience on the Linux OS, like shell programming, network service configuration and other system administration work.
Familiar with the network protocol, TCP/IP, IGMP, RTSP …; Solid experience on the network troubleshooting.
Can work independently, easy to work with and strong team work spirit.
Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply to work tasks.
Good English communication skill (both in written and verbal), be able to understand the meaning accurately and express own thinking clearly. (Mandatory)


Ericsson-MBMS
Work with leading edge technology, developing Ericsson’s TV products (Mobile TV, Cable TV and IPTV)
Perform software design: analyze the customer requirements, design and implement the system; track requirements all the way till the requirements are fulfilled
Co-operate with colleagues in Europe and U.S.A to ensure a large-scale e2e solution with good quality
Perform function test including test design and test execution
Perform trouble-shooting on released software globally and travel across different countries if it is necessary


Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Skills
University Bachelor or Master Degree in any of the following: Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering. More than one year experience in related field is required
Knowledge of Object Oriented design (OOD) is a MUST, understand OO design language, e.g. UML
Solid experience on Java and/or C++ programming for more than 1.5 years
Solid knowledge on XML programming
Solid experience on the UNIX OS (Linux or Solaris), including but not limited to shell programming, network service configuration and other system administration work.
Familiar with the network architecture and protocol, e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DIAMETER
Solid experience on the network troubleshooting.
Experience on Network programming and Multi-thread programming is a must.

Preferred Qualification and Skills
Experience on system design , large development project experience for more than two years is an advantage
Good knowledge and basic understanding in GPRS/WCDMA/LTE system architecture.
Solid knowledge in TV domain, e.g. DVB standards, MBMS related standards, CA technology, CDN technology and the related business logic.
Knowledge on J2EE, Web Services, Spring, Struts, Hibernate etc. is advantage
Knowledge of the following network protocols: Video streaming, FLUTE, RTP, RTCP, RTSP, MBMS, HTTP Streaming, RTMP (Flash Streaming), DVB-H, CMMB and Video CODEC is an advantage
Experience with Java script and JSP

Other Soft Skills
Basic knowledge of Software Engineering such as Agile, streamline and RUP
Understand the Agile way of working
Good English communication skills (both in written and verbal), CET-4 certification is mandatory.

Android engineer
Description
Architecture and design Android App on Tablet/Smart Phone with latest Android version.
Development, test and debug Android App.
Work within cross functional team including system management, develop, test , documentation.

Qualifications
University Bachelor or Master Degree in any of the following majors: Computer Science, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering with 2~4 years working experience in related field is required
At Least one year Android application development experience.
Strong programming skills in Android, Java and C.
Familiarity with Linux is required.
Must have very good knowledge about network protocols: TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, RTSP.
Knowledge/experience with any of the following is a plus:
a) APPLE IOS APP Development
b) UPNP/DLNA Protocol and implementation.
c) Any CA/DRM product
d) WebSocket Protocol
Can work independently, easy to work with and strong team work spirit.
Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply to work tasks.
