RedHat5 中文乱码问题

昨天刚安装了一个RedHat Enterprise Linux 5，当时安装时装的英文版的。今天想换一下中文看看，结果字体都变成的小方块。
我在google上也查了一些资料，说是缺少包。
中文语言支持的rpm包：
fonts-chinese-3.02-12.el5.noarch.rpm
m17n-db-common-cjk-1.3.3-46.el5.noarch.rpm
m17n-db-chinese-1.3.3-46.el5.noarch.rpm
我在第三张盘中就只找到了fonts-chinese-3.02-12.el5.noarch.rpm这个包，其它两个我都在网上下载的。
我安装fonts-chinese-3.02-12.el5.noarch.rpm 时 报了个错，与其它文件产生了冲突。

其它两个包，都安装成功。我重启了一下后，在linux 介面语言栏中，chinese 后面还是小方块。我就将错识拿到google上找，哎~~还是功能太浅，没有找到解决方法。所以到论坛上来，跪求高手帮助，指点迷经。不胜感激！
