JOB TITLE: CONSUMER EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER - Android / Linux Driver Development

SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Develop Android / Linux driver for embedded consumer electronics systems.
 Collaborate with software engineering team members and quality assurance teams to ensure the successful execution of consumer embedded software implementations
 Ensure the integration of drivers and embedded applications into the final consumer electronics devices to offer superior user experience
 Perform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results.
 Provide unit tests and documentation for software modules.
 Identify and solve issues relating to system and application software implementation
 Function within highly talented specialized team environment and coordinate with others to accomplish project tasks


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Requires a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and should have at least 3+ years of related experience; or MS Degree with 2+ years of related experience.

Required Experience & Knowledge:
• Experience with Android /Linux embedded operating systems & driver development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Chinese and English language skills (fluent in spoken and written)
• Strong analytical and process-oriented problem solving skills
• Detail oriented

Desired Experience and Knowledge:
 Hands-on experience with embedded Linux variants including Android
 Experience with Android application framework such as Window manager, View system etc
 Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
 3+ years of experience in software development in C++
 Experience developing and debugging object-oriented software in a real-time, embedded, multi-processor, multi-interface environment is a plus
 Experience in operating systems WinCE, LINUX is a plus
