openSUSE 11.3 Milestone 3发布

Suse是众多 Linux 发行套件之一。SuSE可以说是Linux发布商中的老牌公司，可是现在已经被NOVEll收购了，NOVELL利用suse使其公司本身焕发出勃勃的生机，成为在linux方面可以与redhat抗衡的企业。同时NOVEll也模仿redhat成立opensuse项目，用户可以免费的下载使用,与 NOVELL发行的suse专业版的区别是少了一些商业软件。他们推出的SuSE Linux 10.0号称是可以媲美Windows的Linux发行版，随带的YaST管理工具的功能也非常的强大，新手建议使用。
Henne Vogelsang has announced the availability of the third milestone of openSUSE 11.2: "The third of seven scheduled milestone releases for 11.3 was completed and released on schedule. Milestone 3 focuses on using GCC 4.5 as the default compiler, leaving a great deal of the work in the hands of the openSUSE Build Service after a few issues (such as kernel panics) were resolved. Here's what you may find interesting in the new release: a bug in Milestone 2 prevented mounting of encrypted home folders - this has been resolved; zypper can now interrupt PackageKit, via D-Bus, eliminating a major annoyance during updates and additional installs; a Milestone 1 issue with starting X.Org on i915 hardware has finally been resolved...."
