Senior developer (linux kernel)

JD of Linux kernel:

1) Responsibilities:

Responsible for LINUX kernel bring up on products to be run from RAM, FLASH, and Trans-FLASH

Linux kernel/various drivers development and drivers integration and test, such as USB, LCD, SD card, keypad, touch screen and so on

Various OS domain bug fix and system performance tuning

2) Requirement:

Wide experience on Linux 2.6 kernel /driver development

Experienced on various OS fields, including file system, power management, performance tuning

BS degree or above in computer science or related engineering fields

Strong C programming skill

Have knowledge of assembling programming

Good programming/software engineering awareness and enjoy technical challenges

Very good problem solving and debugging skills

Proficiency in written and oral English

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good team spirit and adaptability

4-5 years experience

Nice to have the experience on TI OMAP platform.


Senior developer (linux BSP/kernel)

JD of Linux BSP/kernel

1) Responsibility

- bring up Android platform on top of OMAP platform and keep upgrading

- responsible for resolving Linux kernel/BSP issues in timely fashion, including generic drivers, file system, power management



2) Requirement

- necessary

familiar with Linux kernel 2.6.23 above

+3 years experience in Linux kernel/BSP development

good communication skills in English

good learning capability

good capability of problem resolving

- better to have

familiar with OMAP 34xx

familiar with tool chain and able to support

familiar with popular multimedia driver framework
