KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, implement and configure x86 server systems including OS as part of hosting platforms according to IT global standards.
• Support operations, monitoring, trouble-shooting and performance management for all server systems.
• Support development of new architectures within our global team.
• Provide handover documentation and training for Global Control Center team and UHD.
• Support standard reporting on all above activities, on operation, project and training related tasks.
• Work closely with central IT team for IT service management and execute the service delivery process and measurement based on the designed procedures.
• Provide necessary assistance to any other regional/global infrastructure and application operations and project implementations.
• In case of necessary, support the local purchasing issues for hosting components together with purchasing department and central IT teams.

QUALIFICATION

• University degree of computer science and information technology
• Experienced in server management
• Extensive experience working in x86 server environments preferred IBM and SUN
• Experience with Windows and LINUX operating systems, VMWare or other server virtualization software, IBM Director, SUN MC
• Certification of Microsoft Windows server, SUSE LINUX, ITIL Foundation preferred
• Good team worker, highly selfmotivated, and strong self-confidence to work independently
• Strong customer oriented attitude and process oriented thinking, understand well the ITIL methodology.
• Be able to use English as a working language, both in written and spoken
• Willing to travel
