红帽子RHCE等级认证考试中有到考题是手动编写grup.conf，也就是GRUP启动文件。
本人没到那个等级，智慧手动配置一下，过程如下：
1. 进入GRUP命令行界面,如下
grup：>
2. 输入root （hd0，0）[小括号中输入的是inux启动的硬盘分区] 回车
3. 输入kernel /vm....... ro root =LACEL=/ 回车 [...表示得是Tab键自动补齐内 容]
4. 输入inited /init..... [Tab键自动补齐]
5. 输入boot 启动
6.但看到红色的欢迎时就成功啦，我是在Fedora 4上做的实验，不知道其他系统上行不行。

这是我已经改动了的。开始所要显示的是从19到24的，我把从20到23的删除了。

多数版本应该是menu.lst，红帽系列用grup.conf，直接做个链接就通用了。
“root =LACEL=/”这一句是换成分区表示法就通用了，这样也可以，但要对分区做卷标/。
字母还写错了，正确的应该是 "root=LABEL=/"
