职位描述/要求：
Major responsibilities
* Conduct certification test on representative hardware.
* Review and validate the certification results to ensure that they meet or exceed criteria.
* Post valid certifications and create knowledge-based entries for certified hardware.
* Providing assistance to IHV's on the use, operation and debugging the certification suite and process.
* Handles representative hardware; includes setup, installation, certification, transfer, etc.
* Assist in program development which may include process, procedures and software improvements.
Requirements
* Red Hat Certified Technician(RHCT) or equivalent.
* More than 2 years of experience in Linux installation and configuration.
* In-depth understanding of RPM and Anaconda, including package construction and complex installation scenarios.
* Knowledge of server hardware.
* Knowledge of storage arrays and HBAs.
* Knowledge of Bash scripting and C/C++ programming.
* Self-motivated and excellent time management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Strong team working skills.
* Computer hardware enthusiast a plus.
* Knowledge of Python, Perl and Web programming a plus.
* Experience in Quality Assurance a plus.

Quality Engineering - Desktop
Red Hat's Engineering Unit is responsible for development and maintenance of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Platform and other open source technology solutions.
Red Hat Desktop/I18N Quality Engineering requires a Quality Engineer who enjoy working in a fast pace environment with a strong passion to break software in order to improve the quality. Some of the core responsibilities include: GUI/desktop applications testing. Internationalization testing (input method, font rendering, printing). Develops, maintain and executes Test Cases (automated/manual). Works with development organization to debug and troubleshoot issues in the course of testing activities.
Requirements
* Experience with graphical application and internationalization testing
* Experience with testing activities such as preparing and executing Test Case
* Familiar with Linux Desktop (GNOME/KDE) and interest in the advancement of Linux Desktop
* Scripting skills including (Perl, Ruby or Python) and Shell
* Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
Quality Engineering - Kernel Testing
Red Hat's Engineering Unit is responsible for development and maintenance of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Platform and other open source technology solutions.
The Quality Engineering team at Red Hat is looking for engineers to search for, analyze, report, and track defects in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Responsibilities include developing test scripts, executing test cases, debugging software problems and operating automated test tools in testing the Linux kernel.
Requirements
* Good knowledge of Linux installations, applying patches and building kernels
* Experience with stress, performance and regression testing
* Familiar with a wide variety of components of the OS (Kernel specifically)
* Scripting skills in bash, perl, or python and strong analytical skills
* Hardware knowledge of x86 x86_64 and IA64 platforms
* Knowledge of IBM s390/s390x(zSeries), ppc(pSeries,iSeries) is desirable
* Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
