发现研究生的课还是很轻松的，和本科相比，除了不用怎么准备考试是一大优点，只要写写论文，看看资料就OK。我想问题不大。所以整些东西来玩玩。
以前一直用的是redhat9&fc， 不过也已经是一年多前的事了。而且几乎所有的linux版本都在我的笔记本上装不了（一年半以前）。如今在ubuntu8.04版发布后，而且听说支持了我的笔记本硬件，尤其是对显卡的支持（ASUS A3V， ATI X700)就想试试了。fc9应该在硬件上也有所改善吧，只是想弄个新鲜的玩玩。
首先ubuntu给我的第一个特点是安装十分方便，十几分钟时间就安装完毕，而且也自动检测到了我的声卡以及笔记本的一些常用的快捷键的驱动，（虽然一些touch pad和模式转换等机型特有的或者特殊的按键无法运行，但是我觉得已经很perfect了），十几分钟后重启就可以使用了，不用像windows那样装一大堆的驱动，然后再一大堆的软件。
当然之后用到显卡驱动时，点击硬件驱动，他就自己帮你列出一些硬件。然后选择显卡，确定，它就会自动去软件源站点下载更新了（我内网用的学校的软件源所以很快，外网的话会慢一些，但是不用配置软件源，所以会方便一些，有些可能自己修改一下软件源会好一些），很快就搞定。ps:唯一的缺憾是，似乎没法检测到我的内置摄像头，可能是内usb借口的原因吧，没有启动usb，应该问题不大，以后再慢慢搞。
然后是需要把系统汉化一下（其实本来是不想汉化的，但是开始在装中文输入法时报错了，后来才知道是因为还没装c,c++的编译器），在language support上面框中选择汉语就可以了，安装重启。系统汉化地还不错，关键是不用再装中文输入法了（发现SCIM用起来还不错，对于用惯了紫光的我，基本上没什么不适应）。
然后还是装软件，装了一大堆。
JDK5：因为要java编程所以先装这个，安装没问题主要是配置，配置完后竟然不行，后来重启后可以了。ps：后来发现在ubuntu的软件包里就有JDK6.0，一时疏忽阿，不过就当联系了。
wine:一种据说是可以在linux下运行1300多种windows软件的软件。安装时出现很多问题，总是找不到什么.h头文件等，最后终于发现是没有装gcc编译器……（sudo apt-get install gcc libc6-dev我比较晕，可能是以前学的不好，一直以为linux是自带编译器的，哈哈）。好像其中还有很多错误，比如需要安装bison,flex.缺少 xlib/xfree86文件的时候又安装了gnome-devel ( sudo apt-get install gnome-devel)。
安装了wine后一些常规的windows程序果然可以运行了。我只是试了几个小程序，想魔兽之类的游戏还是用后面的cedega吧。不过发现wine似乎中文支持不好，中文都成了乱码，不知道是应为我没有配置中文还是应为它本身中文就支持得不好，不过用着没问题，大不了以后就运行英文程序了。
qterm-0.4.0pre1：出错时安装了g＋＋，报错是缺少c++的某些头文件。
cedega：
报错：checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!
解决： 安装xorg-dev(I'm in ubuntu)包。
报错：configure error: Qt not found
解决：A very common problem when compiling KDE programs (or other ones which use Qt), is that the configure script, is unable to find where Qt is, and failing with a message like this:
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
This problem can mean different things:
* You don't have the necessary Qt packages installed.
* The packages are installed, but configure is unable to find them.
First, make sure you have (at least) libqt3-mt-dev and qt3-dev-tools. If configure is successful, but during compilation, the build fails because a file is missing (for example, qlist.h), this means this software is using obsolete headers. Please, report this fact to the developers of this software, and to complete the build, install libqt3-compat-headers.
If configure still fails with the same error, this means is failing to find where Qt is installed. You can pass the exact path to the configure script this way:
--with-qt-dir=/usr/share/qt3
Since this is a bit annoying if you are compiling lots of times, you can set the environment variable QTDIR, pointing to /usr/share/qt3 (in bash: export QTDIR=/usr/share/qt3).
If you wist to compile Qt4 applications, please install the libqt4-dev and qt4-dev-tools packages.
安装了cedega后像魔兽之类的已经可以运行了，但是却出现了屏幕不停得闪烁得问题，不停得黑屏，不知道是不是显卡驱动没有安装好的原因。
