Title: Senior Linux* Sofware Engineer
Responsibilities and Details
Description:
In this position, you will be building and delivering open source software and Linux* on Intel architecture, initially focusing on driver enabling for OSVs and ISVs. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Developing and supporting Linux* driver development
• Working with worldwide Linux* OSVs and ISVs to ensure timely adoption of Intel's technologies and platforms
• Testing and validating of Linux* drivers and other related software on Intel platforms
• Establishing collaborative working relationships with PRC and worldwide Linux* community
Qualifications:
You should possess a Master or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with more than four years of experience. Additional qualifications include:
• Strong background in Linux* system and/or application software development
• Knowledge of open source development models
• Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills
• Verbal and written communication skills (both in Mandarin and English)

Description
In this position, you will be building and delivering open source software and Linux* on Intel(R) architecture, initially focusing on Linux enabling for OSVs. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Working with worldwide Linux* OS vendors to enable Intel's technologies and platforms in their OS.
• Testing Linux* OS distributions on Intel(R) platforms and resolve issues
• Participate in open source project development, especially Linux kernel and drivers
• Collaborating with Linux OSV engineers across different geos
Qualifications
You should possess a Master or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or other related technical degrees. Additional qualifications include:
• At least three years experience on Linux or UNIX software development with proven project records
• Familiar with x86 architecture
• Knowledge of open source development models
• Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills
• Verbal and written communication skills (both in Mandarin and English)
