根据许多 Vivaldi 用户的要求，开发者显然已经在使用 Vivaldi 1.7 的开发版，团队实现了一个新的功能，内置的截图工具，将允许用户复制捕获某个网页的屏幕截图或 Vivaldi 窗口到剪贴板。
新的屏幕截图工具以及通知，书签，固定标签和搜索字段的以及其他一些改进都落在了 Vivaldi Snapshot 1.7.721.3 中，一天后的快照版本为 1.7.725.3，带来了可映射的键盘快捷键和新的快速命令到屏幕截图功能。
该版本内核基于 Chromium 56.0.2924.59。
