Quality Engineer-Performance
Job Summary
The Red Hat Quality Engineering team within Hosted and Shared Services is looking for a performance test engineer to work on performance testing of multiple Red Hat engineering infrastructure tools, which are mostly enterprise web applications. This is a relatively new team, but is composed of experienced performance test engineers. As most project developers are located in Australia and China, you will have the chance to frequently use your oral and written English skills without having to deal with time zone issues. As a Quality Engineer, you will design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for automated and functional testing, and work alongside some of the brightest engineers in the open source industry while being encouraged to develop innovative solutions to problems. Red Hat's Quality Engineering team is looking for a candidate who is familiar with web, network, and system security, and interested in becoming a security specialist to join us as a Quality Engineer. In this role, you will work as part of a global team while performing security testing and audits on Red Hat's engineering infrastructure tools as well as our customers' products. The Red Hat Quality Engineering team is seeking a Quality Engineer to join us in Beijing, China. This team serves as the last checkpoint before code is released to the public. In this role, you will focus on test automation for the Linux kernel by learning how to search for, analyze, report, and track defects and verify bug fixes. You'll also oversee driver updates, ksc tool, kabi, and miscellaneous kernel-related technology. As a Quality Engineer, you'll be encouraged to come up with innovative solutions while working alongside some of the brightest engineers in the open source industry.

Job Summary
The Quality Engineering team at Red Hat is looking for an engineer to test the Linux file system, including autofs, NFS, CIFS, etc. In this role, you will search for, analyze, report, and track kernel defects, as well as verify kernel bug fixes. You'll be encouraged to create innovative solutions to problems while researching new features and developing test plans. As a Quality Engineer, you will develop, review, and maintain automated test scripts and test cases, implement automated test scripts, and analyze and summarize the testing results.
