Red Hat is seeking an experienced Associate Systems Administrator to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you'll be responsible for triaging and resolving incoming technical issues, communicating to the customer base either individually or via outage messages, and documenting solutions in the Knowledge base. We'll need you to provide exceptional customer service to build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. As an Associate Systems Administrator, you will constantly enhance the quality and added value of products and services through ongoing and cost-effective innovation.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Resolve incoming issues
Provide a high standard of customer service by regularly communicating on outstanding tickets
Capture issue solutions, reviewing and contributing to the Knowledge base
Identify solutions to individual tickets, look for trends, and, where possible, develop ideas or solutions to automate common tasks
Assist with internal projects
Share knowledge with team members
Contribute to team goals
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant course of study or equivalent work experience
1+ year(s) of experience in an IT-related environment
Basic to intermediate-level Linux experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Solid attention to detail
Good problem solving skills
Willingness to learn and study further; ability to act as an agent of change
