Qualifications
You should possess a Master's degree (or above) in Computer Science or equivalent areas with more than three years of working experiences on developing Linux* device drivers on Intel(r) x86 Architecture, knowledge of developing Windows* device driver and/or firmware/BIOS is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills
- Good English communication skills
- Familiarity with Software QA process
- Familiarity with Xen*, KVM* and other virtual machine technology would be an added advantage
SW Engineer (Shanghai)
The successful candidate for this job will develop the simulators and tools used to analyze and project the performance of latest or future processors. He will be working on system architecture closely related SW that extract data from existing systems and enables the platform architects to evaluate the performance of future systems that are currently in optimization or design. This position requires excellent software development and debug skills as well as knowledge of microprocessor/architectures, IA32 knowledge is required and Intel 64 knowledge will be value added. The candidate must be familiar with development under both Windows and Linux environments. Good communications skill is also a key to be successful as the candidate will network with other teams of varying disciplines. The candidate should have their MS or BS plus 2~5 years of hands-on experience in system level software development in C/C++.
Requirement: The key skill will be: C programming+ computer architecture knowledge + Simulation / performance analysis exp (plus; Operating System or device driver exp is also good).
