Ubuntu is a community developed operating system that is perfect for laptops, desktops and servers. Whether you use it at home, at school or at work Ubuntu contains all the applications you'll ever need, from word processing and email applications, to web server software and programming tools.
Ubuntu is and always will be free of charge. You do not pay any licensing fees. You can download, use and share Ubuntu with your friends, family, school or business for absolutely nothing.
Requesting an Ubuntu CD
Ubuntu is available free of charge and we can send you a CD of the latest version (8.04 LTS (Hardy Heron)) with no extra cost, but the delivery may take up to ten weeks, so you should consider downloading the CD image if you have a fast Internet connection.
Shipped/Cancelled requests
1 CDs requested on. 1 CDs were approved and sent to the shipping company on 2008-07-13. Please note requests usually take from 4 to 6 weeks to deliver, depending on the country of shipping.
We can send you a CD free of charge, but it will take from six to ten weeks to deliver, so you may prefer to
download the CD image and record it yourself.
